This project involved the conversion of a doctor’s surgery on the ground floor of a residential block into two three-bedroom flats.  

 

Works included a careful strip out & demolition of the existing internal layout with a new layout, with new M&E installations, high-standard finish kitchen & bathroom decorations and floor finishes and private family-friendly gardens along with the installation of new uPVC windows.

A Hidden Homes project for a West London Local Authority.

This was the pilot scheme developed for a Hidden Homes initiative.

 

The property was previously a doctors surgery, which was completely gutted and converted into two new flats, built to a high specification.

 

Built for a shared ownsership scheme in one of London's new opportunity areas.

Working with the local authority’s Building Control & Structural team for this large project in Fulham, the works required major structural works to the external & internal areas of the property.

 

The works included the erection of a shoring-scaffold to the front of the property to allow for geopolymer injection stabilisation works, demolition & rebuilding of the 2-storey front bay window, stripping out of the entire internal areas, installation of new timber double-glazed windows in keeping with the surrounding area, installation of a second bathroom on the upper floor, kitchen & bathroom upgrade, plastering and full decorations throughout.

 

Other works to the external areas include installation of new drainage, repairs to inspection chambers, repairs to the existing roof, asphalt repairs to the small balcony and the renewal of concrete hard standing to the front garden.

The client required works to completely refurbish the existing property internally & externally.

 

The works included the full refurbishment of various rooms within the property including, stripping out works, removal of existing flooring, stripping of all wallpaper, plastering to walls & ceilings, waterproof rendering works, external works (rainwater pipework, soakaways, helibar repairs, painting of windows & pipework).

 

Other works carried out to the property included electrical works (including installation of spotlights throughout), installation of new boiler & alterations to the heating system, kitchen installation including all appliances & tiling and full decorations throughout.

The client required works to convert the existing bedsit property into a 1 bed flat and complete refurbishment to the interior & exterior of the property.

 

The works included the complete strip out of all existing interiors (ceilings, walls, kitchen, bathroom, flooring, removal of redundant pipework), Helibar repairs to external areas, drainage works and render repairs and the demolition & rebuild of the side wall to the property.

 

Other works carried out involved alterations to walls & plumbing services, installation of new doors & windows, kitchen, bathroom, full re-wire of electrics and all carpets, decorations & finishes.
